Lois Owens Ward, 61, of 234 Edens Road, passed away Monday, August 9, 2010, at her home.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Clinton Elliott and T.C. Powell Owens, Mrs. Ward was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Bill Ward of the home; a daughter, Pamela Simmons(Harold) of Pickens; a brother, Ike Owens (Gail) of Pickens; one grandchild, Zach Ward and two step-grandchildren, Cory and Heather Simmons. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ward was predeceased by two brothers, Aaron Owens and James Harold Owens.
Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home.
