Lois Coile Wiggins

Dora Lois Coile Wiggins, 83, wife and partner in ministry for almost 62 years of Reverend James E. Wiggins, passed away peacefully at her home on June 7, 2021.

Lois was born in Lakeland, Florida, a daughter of the late Herman D. and Ethel Sherman Coile. She was a homemaker, mother, and library aide at Central Wesleyan College (now Southern Wesleyan University), served with her husband in Wesleyan World Missions (now Global Partners) to Sierra Leone, West Africa, and was a devoted partner and pastor's wife. She was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church, was an avid reader, and had a special gift for discerning and ministering to the unique needs of others. Lois was well-known as a devoted student of God's Word and a faithful prayer warrior for many, and had a servant's heart for missions both locally and globally.

Surviving in addition to her husband are: Three Sons, Daniel Wiggins and wife Jan of Fayetteville, Georgia; John Wiggins and wife Barbara of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina; and Joseph Wiggins and wife Sheila of Central, South Carolina; Daughter Mary Leach and husband Reverend Todd Leach of Clemson, South Carolina; Brother David Coile and wife LaRae of Lakeland, Florida; Sisters Ruthella Rider and husband Roger of Claremore, Oklahoma, and Rachel McKee and husband Walter of Alva, Florida; and nine Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 3 pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Trinity Wesleyan Church, with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central, South Carolina.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:50 pm on Saturday, prior to the service at the church.
