Lola Shedd Thompson, 72, of 145 Campbell Bridge Road died Monday, April 22, 2013 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Bixie "Buster" and Gertrude Martin Shedd. Lola was a homemaker and attended Miracle Way Ministries.
Surviving are sons, Roger Burkett and Jerry Burkett both of Seneca; daughter, Cathy Burkett of Seneca; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Rick Shedd; brothers, Grady and Junior Shedd; and a sister Lillian Holder.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
