Lonnie James Orr, 58, of 130 Orr Hill Road, died Wednesday May 30, 2007 at his home.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of James Oliver Orr, of Powdersville and the late Edith Rumsey Orr. Mr. Orr was a maintenance specialist at BASF, a member of Siloam Baptist Church and the U.S. Marine Reserve.

Surviving in addition to his father is his wife, Mary Ann Amann Orr, of the home ; a son, Lonnie James Orr, II, of the home ; three daughters, Sherri Robinson, of Travelers Rest, Cari Witham and her husband, Gregory and Charisha A. Scarborough and her husband, Josh, all of Powdersville ; a brother, Timothy O. Orr, of Powdersville ; three sisters, Brenda Garmon and Vicky Bolt, both of Powdersville and Judy Kimbrell, of Inman ; five grandchildren, Austin Witham, Grace Witham, Della Rose Scarborough, all of Powdersville, Sean Robinson, of Greenville and Chase Clark, of Travelers Rest.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Siloam Baptist Church conducted by the Reverend Tommy Ramey. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Chapel.
