Loree Sumner James, 77, of 124 Sabra Drive, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at McCall Hospice House.
Born in Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Russell B. and Pearle Waddell Sumner, Mrs. James retired as a secretary with Gettys Middle School and was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles L. James of the home; a daughter, Debra Crawford and husband, Fred, of Greenville; a brother, Donald Sumner of Enoree; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. James was predeceased by a son, Charles Dale James, a brother, Ray Sumner and a sister, Elizabeth Whitmore.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Easley First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Correll officiating. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:45 until 1:45 PM Tuesday in the fellowship hall of the church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to McCall Hospice House, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
The family is at the residence.
