Lori A. Leisten

Lori Annette Leisten, 57, of Liberty, South Carolina, passed from this life on Friday, August 6th, 2021. She was born on January 29th, 1964 to Bobbie Gossett Collins in Easley, SC.

Lori was a passionate mother and grandmother (GG), daughter, sister and friend. She loved working in her yard, reading, bird watching, and spending time at the lake. She was known for her humor, wit, and the love and compassion she held for her friends and family.

Lori was predeceased in death by her brother Michael Leisten. She is survived by her mother, Bobbie Gossett Collins of Liberty, SC; her daughters, Tara Leann Layfield (Dylan), Trista Danielle Tallman (Zachary Cannon), Hannah Corrine Tallman (Caleb Bass); grandsons, Byron Colby Tallman, Payton J. Edmiston, Gage Lee Allen, Finn Elisha Collins; granddaughters, Ansley Snow Chapman, Olivia Adalyn Bass, Abigail Londyn Bass, Ava Grace Cannon, Raelynn Renee Cannon, sister, Debbie Peek (Curtis); brother, Lawrence Leisten (Toshia); nieces and nephews, Michael Leisten, Briana Barrett, Amber Leisten, Morgan Smith (Caroline), Jacob Leisten, Taylor Smith (Nicole), Joshua Leisten, Tanner Leisten, Emma Leisten; and best friend, Tom Broome.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM Saturday, August 14th, 2021 at Trinity Wesleyan Church, located at 700 Issaqueena Trail, Central, SC. The family will receive friends at 10AM prior to the service. As were her wishes, Lori's ashes will be laid to rest later this year at her daughter's home and a red maple tree will be planted in her honor.
