Lou Ellen Anders Chapman, 85, of Greenville, passed Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC.
She was the daughter of the late Artellus and Eddis Watson Anders.
She was born January 8, 1932 in Greenville, SC, and was a proud 1950 graduate of Parker High School. She loved fishing, time with her family, and was a retired Spinning Machine Operator from Fiber Industries (Hoescht Celanese).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail C. Redmond.
Surviving are her daughter, Diane C. Bishop (Roger) of Piedmont, SC; beloved sister and fishing buddy, Betty A. Corn of Greenville; five granddaughters, who she called her five "Long Stemmed American Beauties", Leah O. Lindsay (Zane) of Matthews, NC, Amanda B. Tallyen (Michael) of Piedmont, SC, Layne O. Barter (Brett) of Charlotte, NC, Ginger R. Bishop of Williamston, SC, and Maggie R. Evans (Clinton) of New Orleans, LA; four wonderful great-grandchildren, Reece Lindsay, Britton Lindsay, Lennox Barter and Max Tallyen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville, SC.
