Mrs. Lou Ellen Jones, 94, wife of the late Dewey Lee Jones, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at her home.
Born in Kingstree, SC, a daughter of the late John Henry and Nellie Huggins Mouzon, Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Alton Jones of Pickens, Jimmy Weston of Pickens and Johnny Weston of Woodruff; one daughter, Nancy Darnell of Easley; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Jones was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 12:45 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Nancy Darnell, 158 Orchard Road, Easley, SC 29642.
