Louie Edward Finley, 72, husband of the late Patricia Ann Roper Finley, of Easley, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024.
Born in Travelers Rest, SC, he was a son of the late Edgar David and Louise Durham Finley.
Mr. Finley enjoyed fishing and being outside. He was a member of Bethel Independent Baptist Church, Easley.
Mr. Finley is survived by a brother, Larry Finley (Donna) of Greer; sisters, Mary Arnette (Davis) of Seneca and Nancy Crowe (Cress) of Dacusville; nephew, Michael Finley, Jr.; niece, Mikayla Finley; a stepson, Shane Burgess (Tori); a stepdaughter, Angel Pilgrim; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and loving wife of 33 years, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Finley and sister-in-law, Marion Finley.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Mountain View Memorial Park in Travelers Rest.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the caring staff of Six Mile Assisted Living, Prisma Health Hospice of the Foothills, Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, and Out To Eat Cafe, Six Mile.
