Louie Clyde McNeely

Louie Clyde McNeely, 84, of Powdersville, husband of Margaret Tumblin McNeely, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Clyde “Buck” and Irene Orr McNeely. Louie was a 1956 graduate of Welcome High School and a retired drywall contractor. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and the Prayer Warriors Sunday School Class.

Louie was a loving husband, father, and Pa Pa that lived his life every day for Jesus.

In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, he is survived by three children, Kathy Smith (Danny), Chris McNeely (Melissa), and Kim McKinney (Allen); nine grandchildren, Morgan Smith, Macy Smith, Landon Smith, Ryan McNeely, Lindsay McNeely, Alex Delano, Brooke Crawford (Marshall), Carley Bryant (Payton), and Holden McKinney.

In addition to his parents, Louie is preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Harold, Troy, and Ted McNeely; and a sister, Ruth Galloway.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Rock Springs Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, Officiated by Dr. David Gallamore. Burial will follow the service at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The Prayer Warriors Bible Fellowship Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
