Louise Gillespie Albertson, 84, of 383 Golden Creek Road, formerly of the Easley Mill Community, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at her home.
Born February 12, 1929 in Anderson County, to the late Ernest and Lula Gassaway Gillespie, Mrs. Albertson was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband of sixty years, Dock Frank Albertson of the home; a son, William Albertson of Liberty; two daughters, Mary Woodall (Paul) of Six Mile, and Joyce Rampey (Jim) of Liberty; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Albertson was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:15 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Journey Hospice, 655 North Academy Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
The family is at the home of a daughter, Joyce and Jim Rampey, 381 Golden Creek Road, Liberty, SC 29657.
