Louise Pace Belt, wife of Walter Belt, daughter of the late Dewey and Lilly Mae Carman Stewart, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and caregivers. Louise was formerly married to the late Lloyd Alvin Pace.

In her earlier years, Louise worked as a cosmetologist and also worked at TG&Y. Later in life she worked with the Reach to Recovery Program and was awarded the Terese Lasser Award from the American Cancer Society. Louise was a faithful and active member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church. She always had a love for life, a smile on her face, kind words and a hug for all.

In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by her sons, Wayne Pace of Charlotte, NC, and Michael Pace (Regina) of Easley; step-son, Danny Belt (Marie) of Easley; grandchildren, Johnny Pace, Chris Pace (Kelly), Ashley Birley (Paul), Kaley McLeese and Nikki Gardo Diaz (Mitchell); great-grandchildren, Russell, William and Sydney Pace; former daughter-in-law, Diane Hunt; special relative, David Rudd; caregiver, Linda Gardo Garrison; and many loving neighbors and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday October 14, 2012 at Jones Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:15 PM Sunday at the church prior to the service.

The family is at the residence, 103 St. Lo Circle, Easley, SC 29640.
