Louise Campbell Ellison, 90, formerly of Lendhart Road, wife of the late Hulet Miley Ellison, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at Riverside Living Center.

Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Austin Lee and Maude Cox Campbell, Mrs. Ellison was a homemaker and a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church where she belonged to the T.E.L Sunday School Class.

Surviving are two daughters, Hilda Hollingsworth and Barbara Sheppard, both of Easley; two sisters, Ruth Lunsford of Greenville and Margaret Sue Ellis of Williamston; three grandchildren, April Harris, Wanda King and Bob Lawless; three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ellison was predeceased by six brothers, Lamar, Homer, Horace, Rupert, Leonard and Kenneth Campbell, and by a sister, Vera Long.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. Roger Couch and Rev. Huford Cash officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Jones Avenue Baptist Church, 614 Ross Avenue, Easley, SC 29640.


The family is at home of Hilda Hollingsworth, 211 Glen Laura Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
