Louise Freeman

Louise Shirley Freeman, 82, of 213 Sunset Drive, wife of the late Perry Wilton Freeman, Sr., went home to be with her Lord Thursday, March 13, 2008, at her home.
Born in Clarksville, GA, a daughter of the late Paul and Ruby Nix Shirley, Mrs. Freeman retired from Platt-Saco Lowell Company after thirty-five years of service and was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Ricky D. Freeman of Anderson; a daughter, Dana Freeman Lassiter of Greenville; eight grandchildren, Monica Freeman, John Freeman, Kristi Ruhland, Shea Jordan, Gina Freeman, Ashleigh Lassiter, Jonathan Lassiter and Brittany Lassiter. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Freeman was predeceased by a son, Perry Wilton Freeman, Jr., two brothers, Clyde Shirley and D.T. Shirley, and by two sisters, Mamie Couch and Bernice Waring.
Mrs. Freeman was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Correll officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the service.
