Louise L. Hendricks

Louise Lively Hendricks, 84, of 213 Holly Bush Road, wife of the late Smith Griffin Hendricks, Sr., died Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at the McCall Hospice House.
Born in Greenville County, the daughter of the late Louis Wilson and Eleanor Walker Lively, Mrs. Hendricks was a graduate of Greenville High School and Furman University. She worked with the Pickens County Legislative Delegation for many years and also served on the board of Pickens County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs and was an active member of the Easley Women's Club. As a devoted member of First Baptist Church, Easley, she served as diligent treasurer of the Philanthea Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a son, Smith Griffin Hendricks, Jr.; grandchildren, Smith Griffin Hendricks, III, Elizabeth Hendricks Nicholson and Catherine Elizabeth James Hendricks; great-grandchildren, Owen Franklin Watterson and Charles Rhett Nicholson. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hendricks was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Wilson Lively.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Springwood Cemetery in Greenville.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
