Patricia Louise Sewell Horton, 73, passed away November 12, 2021.

Born on August 3, 1948, in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Welch Sewell.

Louise enjoyed working in the garden, and crafts. She was a member of Elljean Baptist Church and attended Living Grace Baptist Church in Piedmont.

Surviving are her children, Karen Horton Simmons (Rev. Rex), and Russell William Horton Sr. (Pat Hubbard Horton); grandchildren, Dale Campbell (Shanna), Brad Campbell (Keron), Rev. Justin Simmons (Briana), Russell Horton Jr., Loren Simmons, Mitchell Horton, Bethany Henderson (Tyler), Bryan Horton; great grandchildren, Allie Duval, Logan Horton, J.D. Simmons, Ryleigh Simmons who is expected in January; and siblings, David Sewell, Imogene Bagwell, and Grady Sewell.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Larry Dale Horton Sr., son Larry Dale Horton Jr.; brothers, Frank Sewell, Alton Sewell, Harold Sewell; and sister, Helen Holloway.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial to follow Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted.

The family will be at the home of Karen and Rex Simmons.
