Louise Burnette Miller, 87, of Easley, wife of the late John McClure Miller, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011, at Hospice of the Upstate.

Born in Macon County, NC, a daughter of the late John and Mary McConnell Burnette, Mrs. Miller retired as a high school teacher serving 30 years in Highlands, NC, Travelers Rest and Liberty School Systems.

Surviving are a son, Robert E. Miller, and wife, Beth, of Easley; a daughter, Martha E. Rogers and husband, Frank, of Waxhaw, NC; four sisters, Gladys Woodruff, Virginia Petree, Joyce Wetmore and Jan Cornelius; and two grandchildren, Dana Miller, and Corey Miller.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Nicholas Miller.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the Chapel of Countryside Village, 706 Pelzer Hwy. Easley, SC.
