Louise Underwood Riggins, 80, of 210 Bedford Road, wife of the late Herman Franklin Riggins, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010, at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Jesse and Alma Sheppard Underwood, Mrs. Riggins retired from Stewart Jewelers and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Houston (Sherri) of John's Island, and Lloyd Houston (Sheryl) lof Parksville; a daughter, Ginger Young of Easley; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family would like to express their special appreciation to Judy, Cindy and Patsy of Interim Healthcare and to Dr. William M. Scott and also to Paula Burgess for the wonderful care they gave to Mrs. Riggins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum of Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
