Louise Waldrop

Louise Waldrop, 85, of 100 Lennox Lane, wife of Cecyl M. Waldrop for 64 years, went to be with the Lord Thursday December 1, 2011 at North Greenville Hospital.
Mrs. Waldrop was born in Easley, a daughter of the late Frank and Beatrice Harris Waldrop. She was a homemaker and an active member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, the choir and the Bible Fellowship. She was a long-time volunteer at Baptist Easley Hospital in Easley.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Jack Waldrop and his wife, Sabrina, of Dallas, NC; a daughter, Sherry Long, of Clayton, NC; 2 grandchildren, Adam Waldrop and Kristi Strange and her husband, Michael; 2 great-grandchildren, Rhys Scott Strange and Aidan Michael Strange; 2 sisters-in-law, Alma Waldrop, of Greenville and Willie Waldrop, of Easley; a brother-in-law, Guy Waldrop and his wife, Elaine, of Pickens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Waldrop, Francis "Heck" Waldrop and Jim Waldrop.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore and the Reverend Marion Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 12:45 PM Saturday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
