Louvell Wilson, 96, of Clemson, South Carolina, passed peacefully at Clemson Downs Nursing facility Sunday, November 29, 2020. Born May 16, 1924 in Anderson County, the daughter of D.C. and Martha (Watson) Cooper.
Mrs. Wilson believed firmly in salvation through Jesus Christ and charter member of Clemson Presbyterian church. Through the years she was a joyful homemaker, a faithful wife and helpmate to her husband of almost 74 years, and caring mother of her three children, supportive member of many clubs, groups and committees at the church.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her spouse, Thomas Virgil Wilson; a daughter, Anita Newton; and three brothers, E.C. Cooper, W.T. Cooper and William D. Cooper.
Surviving; a son, Tim Wilson and wife Vivian Ann Wilson of Colorado Springs, CO; a daughter, Jane and her husband Warren Lineberger of Charlotte, NC; ten grandchildren (plus eight spouses), and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
The children and grandchildren are planning a zoom memorial service to share memories and celebrate the life of this wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
