Lucile Lesley Satterfield, 89, of 118 Satterfield Road and widow of Chadwick B. Satterfield, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at her residence.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Herbert "Hub" and Elzora Black Lesley, she was a homemaker, a member of the Tri County Senior Bowling League and Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Hobart Satterfield of Easley, Larry Satterfield of Moore, and Nathaniel Satterfield of Anderson; three daughters, Joyce Cochran of Piedmont, Gwendolyn Elrod of Easley, and Francine Wilder of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one brother, Weldon "Pete" Lesley of Easley; one sister, Elizabeth Campbell of Easley; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Satterfield was predeceased by a son, Bradley Chadwick Satterfield; three brothers, Martin, Bascom and William "Bill" Lesley; one sister, Pauline Freeman; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Dr David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Monday at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
