Mrs. Katherine Lucile Cox Stephens, 92, wife of the late Raymond Rastus Stephens, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Thomas and Nancy McDowell Cox, Mrs. Stephens retired from Woodside Mill-Greenville and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, where she was a charter member.

Surviving are two sons, Eddie Stephens (Kim C.) of Easley, and Thomas L. Hendricks (Chylene) of Travelers Rest; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stephens was predeceased by two brothers, three sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Escort of honor will be the Nancy King Sunday School Class of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 PM Wednesday at the church, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Kim Stephens.
