Lucille C. Bryant

Lucille Cantrell Bryant, 93, of 3259 Greenville Highway and widow of Ansel Thomas Bryant, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Silas Earl and Sallie DeVore Cantrell. For over 40 years, she was employed with Fedder's Fashion Shop of Easley and for over 20 years served as a volunteer with the Palmetto Baptist Hospital. She had been a member of First United Methodist Church of Easley for over 82 years where she was the oldest living member, was a member of the Wesley Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women. She was a former member of the Easley Jasmine Garden Club.
Surviving are: a son, George N. Bryant and his wife, Yvonne of Easley; two daughters, Amy Jo Hughes of Liberty and Nancy McJunkin and her husband Eddie of Greenville; a daughter-in-law, Betty Bryant Reese of Greenville; a sister-in-law, Ruth Cantrell of Easley; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bryant was predeceased by; 2 sons, W. Clyde Bryant and Tommy C. Bryant, 4 brothers, Newt, Clyde, Winfred and DeVore Cantrell; and 3 sisters, Gertrude Bush, Agnes Gaines and Bernice Stone.
Services will be 11 AM, Wednesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Jim Correll officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
