Lucille H Green

Lucille Halstead Green, 90, of Easley, South Carolina, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at her home in Easley. Born in Bloomingrose, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ezra and Etta Halstead and the wife of the late Clauson L. Green.

Lucille was an elementary school teacher with a Bachelor’s degree from Piedmont Bible College, and of the Baptist faith. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and she loved her family with enormous pride and caring.

She is survived by her two daughters, Aprill Harris (Kenny) and Kimberly Pesnell (Mark), both of Easley, and a sister, Margie Cummings of Bloomingrose, West Virginia. She also leaves three granddaughters, Tara, Maura, and Kellen, and one great-granddaughter, Genevieve, to share in her memory.

A funeral service is planned for 11:00am, Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Crosswell Baptist Church, Easley, with the Rev. Shawn O’Shields officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service, at the church.

Interment will be alongside her late husband at Middleburg United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Middleburg, Florida. Details of a graveside committal ceremony will be announced at a later date.
