Lucille Norris Johnson

Lucille Norris "Lucy" Johnson, 85, of Sheriff Mill Road, widow to the late Joe Mac Johnson, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Johnson was born on September 29, 1929 in Easley to the late Charlie Austin and Ada Waldrop Norris. She was a graduate of the Greenville Hospital School of Nursing, and a retired Nurse with Greenville Memorial Hospital with 18 years of service. Mrs. Johnson loved sewing, gardening and reading. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by a son, Dan Johnson (Kim), of Taylors, and two grandchildren, Laura Jill Laferriere (Pierre) and Amamda Kathleen Mahaffey (Drew).
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Partnership Program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, 14542 Choate Circle, Charlotte, NC 28273.
