Lucille Hawkins Rackley, 82, of 221 Smith Drive and formerly of Liberty, SC, died Friday January 12, 2007 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the lateLonnie Horace and Mattie Bradley Hawkins. Mrs. Rackley was a member of Ruhamah Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Homer Rackley, of the home ; two sons, Marvin Rackley, of Pelzer and Preston Rackley, of Pickens ; a daughter, Nancy R. Crymes, of the home ; a sister, Vinita Swaney, of Anderson ; grandchildren, Lisa Hayes, Will and Rebecca Gossett, Leon Fant, Dennis Rackley, Jimmy Wilson, Teresa Hightower and Ricky Wilson and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three daughters, Betty McQueen Kitchens, Brenda Denkins and Judy Martin.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, conducted by the Reverend Sam Gossett.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
The family is at the residence.
