Lucinda "Cindy" Draughon

Lucinda "Cindy" Draughon, 59, of Easley, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at her home.

Born on November 2, 1963, in Florence, South Carolina, Cindy was the daughter of the late William V. and Mabel Price Draughon. Cindy’s vibrant spirit and loving heart touched the lives of everyone she encountered. From a young age, Cindy embraced adventure with a contagious enthusiasm that never ceased to inspire those around her. Alongside her brother, she reveled in the thrill of riding around the yard on his motorcycle, their laughter echoing through the air. However, her thirst for excitement did not end there. With fearlessness as her constant companion, she fearlessly soared through the skies in her father's plane, awestruck by the boundless beauty of the world below.  Cindy's loving personality was a beacon of light that could illuminate even the darkest room. Overflowing with kindness and compassion, she had an innate ability to make those around her feel seen and valued. Whether offering words of encouragement during difficult times or simply sharing a warm smile, Cindy had an extraordinary gift for brightening the days of others.

Cindy is survived by her brother, Charles Draughon (Dana); seven nieces and nephews, Charles Scott Draughon, Lucinda Nichole Draughon, Tiffany Strickland, Russell William Draughon, Daniel Vickers, Martha Vickers, and Madison Vickers; and twelve great nieces and nephews, Christopher Draughon, Devon Draughon, Eathen Draughon, Clayton Draughon, Tyler Lance, Nicholas Lance, Christina Lance, Haylee Bryant, Kaylee Bryant, Destiny Cox, Jayci Draughon, and Audrey Draughon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. Burial will follow the service at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
