Mrs. Lucinda Elrod Looper, 74, wife of the late William F. "Bill" Looper, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late William Truman and Nora Mae Howard Elrod, Mrs. Looper retired from the Pickens County Treasurer's Office and was a member of East Pickens Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Jason F. Looper (Alicia) of Pickens; a daughter, Debbie McPeters (Kenny) of Pickens; a brother, Roy E. Elrod of Liberty; and five grandchildren, McKenley and Austen McPeters, and Abby, Jake and Seth Looper. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Looper was predeceased by three brothers, William R., Derwin P., and Ray O. Elrod; and a sister, Alice M. Scruggs.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Mission Fund of East Pickens Baptist Church, 2244 Gentry Memorial Highway Pickens, SC 29671.

The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Alicia Looper.
