Carrie Louise "Lucy" Jackson Brissey, 88, of 110 Willow Place, wife of the late William Brissey, Sr., died Saturday, July 04, 2009 at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born in Spaulding County, GA, a daughter of the late John and Sarah Bailey Jackson, Mrs. Brissey was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Easley, where she belonged to the Fidelis Sunday School Class and the Friendship Club.
Surviving are a son, William "Bill" Brissey, Jr., and wife, Libby, of Greenville; two daughters, Carrol Herrin and husband, Virgil, of Chatsworth, GA, and Dianne Gillespie and husband, Charles, of Easley; three sisters, Mamie Ruth Reynolds, Beulah Foster and Lynn Johnson, all of Griffin, GA; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brissey was predeceased by a son, Tommy Brissey, two brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of Dianne and Charles Gillespie, 202 Robinall Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
