Lula Black Camp, 91, wife of the late Hubert Camp, of Easley, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023.

Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late James Ansel and Charity Laverne Gaddis Black.

Mrs. Camp worked at the Saco Lowell Plant for over 27 years and was a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Camp is survived by a son, James E. "Jimmy" Camp (Judy) of Easley; a sister, Mary Sue Gibson of Easley; grandsons, James Scott Camp and Dwayne Lothridge (Connie); and a great-grandson, Jared Seth Camp (Samantha).

In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Camp; sisters, Willard Shaloski and Frances Smith; and brothers, James, Melvin, and Elmo Black.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 5, 2023 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Foothills Presbyterian Retirement Community, 205 Bud Nalley Dr, Easley, SC 29642.
