Lula Lesley Simpson

Lula Simpson, 86, of Wetumpka, passed away May 27, 2023. She was born June 27, 1936.

Visitation will begin at 2 pm, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, 84632 Tallassee Hwy, Eclectic, AL 36024, followed by the funeral service at 3 pm.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2023, in Graceland Cemetery – West, 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611 with Bishop Jeff Kitchen officiating.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Margie Lesley; husband, Marion Ray Simpson; son, Floyd Simpson; sister, Iris Bailey; brother, Charlie Wilson Lesley, Jr. and grandson, Steffan Simpson. She is survived by her children, Dale Simpson, Joan Anthony, Mark Simpson, and Allen Simpson; nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and siblings, Frances Nichols and Linda Leverett.
