Lula Mae Benton Wilbanks, widow of Jim Wilbanks, went home to be with our heavenly Father on Feb. 20, 2012 at the age of 83.
She was born in Brunswick County, NC, a daughter of the late Walter and Buzzie Stanley Benton. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, Roger (Trish) Wilbanks of Walhalla, SC; daughters, Brenda G. (Glen A.) Stephens of the home and Jo Ann (Rick) Moore of Pickens; grandchildren Lisa Harrell, Karen Ellenburg, Donna Fisher, Travis Fisher, Jennifer Howard, David Stephens, Tina Moore, Tammy Mitchell and Melissa Wilbanks; and 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thursday at Gap Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central, SC.
The family is at the home.
