Lura Pace Galloway, formerly of Jameson Road and wife of the late Ralph C. Galloway, Sr. passed away Tuesday December 30, 2014 at Manna Health and Rehab in Pickens, SC just one month before her 100th birthday.

Mrs, Galloway was born in Pickens County, SC and was the oldest of 11 children born to the late James Thomas and Minnie Lee McJunkins Pace. She was a lifelong resident of Pickens County and loved working outside with her flowers, garden and yard. She was a seamstress and served at Sir Shirtmaker for 32 years. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church but accepted Jesus as her Saviour at the age of 10 and was baptized at Oolenoy Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Richard E Galloway (Pat) and James T. "Tom" Galloway (Evelyn), all of Easley; a daughter, Ann G. Couick (Arnold), of Rock Hill, SC; a daughter-in-law, Gale C. Galloway, of Easley; two brothers, Joe H. Pace (Marty), of Anderson and Grover Pace (Leola), of Pickens; a sister, Louise P. Wolf, of Dickinson, ND; special sisters-in-law, Argyle Pace, of Pickens and Fanny Pace, of Easley; grandchildren, Sherri G. Miller (Steve), Marie G. Anders (Yancey) and Alex Galloway; Great-Grandchildren, Wesley Miller, Kristin Miller Price, Nicholas Galloway, Jake Galloway, Parker Anders and Grayson Anders.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ralph C. Galloway, Jr.; a daughter, Francis Inez Galloway; brothers, Richard Pace, W.T. Pace, Thurman Pace and Marvin Pace; sisters, Bertie P. Looper, Willice Mae Anthony , Lucretia "Cressie" Anthony and a grandson, Andy Galloway.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Cross Roads Baptist Church with the Reverend Phil Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday January 1, 2015 at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.

The family is at the home of Tom and Evelyn Galloway, 196 Montague Drive, Easley, SC 29640.

The family expresses much thanks to the nurses and CNA's of Redeemer and Manna Health and Rehab in Pickens.
