Maynard Luis Lancaster, 49, of 148 North Cedar Rock Road, died Friday, January 18, 2008, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville, Mr. Lancaster was a son of Maynard and Maria Robles Lancaster. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He was a mortgage banker and a Catholic. He loved hiking, blues music and traveling.
Surviving in addition to his parents of La Puente, California are his wife, Linda Masters Lancaster, of the home; one step-son, Scott Whitman of Easley; two step-daughters, Tammy Clark and her husband, Randy, of Six Mile and Ronda Ambrose and her husband, Andy, of Williamston; two brothers, Rudolph Lancaster, of West Covina, California and Frederic Lancaster, of Columbia, Maryland; one sister, Margaret Wardell, of Fontana, California; two grandsons, Tyler Clark and Matthew Clark; five nephews; and one niece.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road; Greenville, S.C. 29615 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road; Greenville, S.C. 29605.
