Mable Lorene (Rusty) Thompson Arnold, 80, of Easley Living Center in Easley, South Carolina entered into rest Monday morning July 31, 2006 at Palmetto Baptist Medical Easley.
She was born February 18, 1926 in Lubback, Texas to Katie and Tony Thompson as one of nine children.
"Rusty" is survived by her two daughters, R. Sue Gordon of Fulton, Missouri; Lorett Arnold - Hayes and her husband, Randy, of Pendleton, SC; one son, Tony R. Arnold and his wife Donna, of Beaufort, SC; son-in-law, Tom Kavlick of Pevely, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Lisa Arnold of San Diego, California; 14 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Iva Kavlick of Festus, Missouri and her son, Stanley M. Arnold of Arlington, Texas.
Lorett and Randy Hayes will receive friends at their home at 609 S. Mechanics Street, Pendleton, SC 29670 on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the Cancer Association of Anderson, 215 East Calhoun Street, Anderson, SC 29621.
The family wishes to thank the residents and staff at Easley Living Center for the loving care provided during her residence there and also the McKissick Wing nursing staff at Palmetto Baptist Medical Easley.
Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
