Ona Mae Parham Ellison, 91, of 102 Chesnut Drive, wife of the late Daniel M. Ellison, died Monday, October 19, 2009, at her home.

Born in Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Jacob Regand and Maudie Jones Parham, Mrs. Ellison was a dental assistant for Dr. Brown in Liberty for many years and she and her late husband operated Ellison Appliances on East main Street in Easley before retiring.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Easley, where she belonged to the Ann Neil Circle and the Crisis Center for a number of years. Mrs. Ellison was also a volunteer with Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.

Surviving is a sisters, Leona Smith of Mauldin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ellison was predeceased by a sister, Grace Singleton.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. John Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
