Marceline D. Waters

Mrs. Marceline Darlene Keller Waters, 88, wife of Lauren Clifford Waters, went to be with Jesus Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca after surgery and a brief illness.
Born February 16, 1928 in Muscatine, IA, a daughter of the late Loren and Viola Wishart Keller, Mrs. Waters retired from H&R Block and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of sixty-six years, are three sons, Larry Waters (Julie) of Easley, Rodney Waters (Lynn) of Granger, IN, and Ed Parks (Cindy) of Bremen, IN; a daughter, Mary Bowling of Bremen, IN; two brothers, Danny and Tom Keller, both of Muscatine, IA; two sisters, Judy Hepker of Muscatine, IA, and Gloria Walker of Monmouth, IL; nine grandchildren, Todd Bowling, Tracy Frederick (Jared), Amy Stanley (David), Andy Parks (Carmen), A.J. Parks (Jessa), Anneka Spaid (Nick), Melanie Newton (Evan), Alex Waters, and Andy Maze (Katie) and fourteen great-grandchildren, Adison and Ainsley Frederick, Jake Stanley, Contessa and Victorious Parks, Gabriella, Lillian and Griffin Parks, Cole and Carson Spaid, Hiram, Wylie and Boden Maze, and Ashby Newton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Waters was predeceased by one brother, Billy Keller; one sister, Patty Holliday; and a son-in-law, Danny Bowling.
Marceline was a kind and loving wife, and a nurturing and caring mother who loved and enjoyed life and her family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr. Rodney Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Julie Waters.
