Margaret "Peg" Brimberry

Margaret "Peg" Brimberry, wife of the late Jim Brimberry, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Greenville, SC at the age of 94. Born on August 18, 1931, in Cook County, Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Jessie Rhamstine.

Peg graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor of Science degree in Institutional Dietary Management and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She worked for Stouffer's restaurant upon graduation, where she met Jim and spent the rest of her career as the dietary manager in hospitals, restaurants and in nursing facilities. Her last employment was with Sharon Health Care in Peoria, IL until retiring in 2017 to Greenville, SC.

She is survived by son, Tom Brimberry (Eve); daughter Sue Gilles (Jim); four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Peg liked to host holiday gatherings for family and loved to bake anything sweet.

The family will hold a private service in IL, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
