Margaret McAdams Burdette, 78, of Pendleton passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Mrs. Burdette was born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Samuel Boyce McAdams, Sr. and Elsie Martin McAdams. She was formally the lunch room manager at Pendleton High School and retired from Wometco of Anderson as assistant manager. She was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Charles D. Burdette; two sons, Rev. Eddie Burdette (Mitzi), Greg Burdette, and an adopted son, Tyler Burdette, all of Pendleton; one brother, Jim McAdams of Townville; three sisters, Hazel Ramage of Townville, Mary Vaughn of Belton, and Linda Wright of Bennettsville; three grandchildren, Brandon and Heath Burdette and Brooke Long; seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Boyce Jr., Ray and Gary McAdams and a sister, Willie Sue Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 2:00 P. M. at Faith Fellowship Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. on Thursday, at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to, Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
