Margaret Cannon

Margaret Kendrick Cannon, born July 19, 1931 and died May 6, 2016.  She was a daughter of the late Minnie Mendenhall Kendrick and the late Charlie Taylor Kendrick.  She was married to the late Marvin P. Cannon, Jr.

Margaret is survived by her son and daughter in law, Brooks and Sheri Cannon; her grandson, Cameron Cannon; her sister Karolyn Taylor and a step granddaughter, Jessica, her husband Will Mischner and their children.  She is also survived by nephews, Earle Taylor in Atlanta and Ken Taylor in Greer.

A devoted Presbyterian all of her life, Margaret grew up in First Presbyterian Church, Greer.  During her lifetime she was also a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greenville; St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Taylors and First Presbyterian Church, Anderson.  At the time of her death she was a member of Pendleton Presbyterian Church.

Margaret graduated from Greer High School and Furman University.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, May 9, 2016 at Pendleton Presbyterian Church. A graveside committal service will precede the memorial service at 10:30 AM.

The family respectfully request that in lieu of flowers, any memorials be sent to Clemson Meals on Wheels, P. O. Box 1415, Clemson, SC  29633.
