Margaret H. Garrison

Margaret H. Garrison, 76, of Greenville, passed peacefully Sunday, March 13, 2016.


Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Tulley Delores and Edith Inez Whitlock Holliday.


Margaret was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pickens.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy B. Garrison, who passed in 2002, and two sisters, Nancy Stewart and Carolyn Alexander.


She enjoyed crocheting, puzzle books, and loved the Atlanta Braves.


She is survived by her son, Barry Garrison (Sheila) of Easley; daughters, Cindy Chapman of Easley, Beverly Roper of Pickens, and Lisa Holliday (Steven) of Easley; sisters, Eloise Phillips of Easley and Pat Emmons of Easley; grandchildren, Brandon Reid, Ashley Chapman, Joshua Garrison, Justin Garrison, Alicea Foster (J.P.), Brittany Lark (Jeremy), Bradley Holliday; step-grandson, Steve Crenshaw; step-granddaughter, Mandy Durham; great-grandchildren, Brantley Reid and Cohen Willimon; step-great-granddaughters, Jordan Carter, Gracie Nell Crenshaw, Kaley Chapman, and Samantha Lollis; step-great-grandson, Gregory Chapman.


Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 16th at 2:00PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown Chapel, 305 W. Main Street, Easley, with Rev. H.C. Couch officiating.   Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.


Family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 1:45PM prior to the service at the funeral home.


The family will be at the home of Lisa and Steve Holliday.
