Margaret Whitman Hayes, 75, wife of Bobby Gene "Red" Hayes of 710 Maw Bridge Road, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her home.
Born in Greenwood, SC, she was a daughter of the late Gus and Margie Wilson Whitman. Margaret was a homemaker and attended Mt. Bethel Holiness Church in Oconee County.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son: Michael (Denise) Hayes of Central; sisters, Ollie Mae York of Toccoa, GA, Ann Provost of Detroit, Michigan and Bertie Sue Nichols of Mascot, TN; grandchildren, Amanda Hurley and Brandon Hayes; and great-grandchildren, David and Derrick Hurley.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with burial to follow in Rider Mountain Firebaptized Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, Westminster, SC.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday at the funeral home.
