Margaret Beatrice Duncan Hester, 92, of Easley, passed away Friday, June 17, 2016 at her daughter's residence in Simpsonville.

Margaret was born in Pickens County on February 12, 1924 to the late Paul Eugene and Ethel Lena Galloway Duncan. She retired from American Enka and in her free time enjoyed traveling, gardening, flowers, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family. She was a devout Christian and a member of New Life Baptist Church in Greenville.

Margaret is survived by two sons; Robert Hester Jr. of Greer and Harold Hester of Easley; three daughters; Paulette McAlister of Easley, Joan DeRossett of Greenville, and Jean Crook of Simpsonville; two brothers; Cleo and Leo Duncan, both of Easley; and one sister; Shelby Durham of Easley. Mrs. Hester is also survived by seven grandchildren; Chad, Barry, and Shane Hester, Valerie Crook, Sonya Smith, Kelly Waldrop, and Tracy Schlymer; 14 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hester is predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2016 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.
