Margaret Leola League Wilson Jones, 79, of 143 Grace Lane, died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Easley, she was the daughter of the late William Claude and Mattie Rankin League. Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Easley High School and a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, and was a great seamstress, which she loved doing.
Surviving are a son, Syd Wilson and wife Elaine of Powdersville; two daughters, Pamela Amaro and husband Anthony of Las Vegas, NV, Terri Jones and husband Dana of Greenville; two brothers, Bill League, Don League, both of Easley; five grandchildren, Craig Wilson, Joey Wilson, Jennifer Michele Amaro, Ashley Alexander, Erin Jones; and six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Wilson, Kobee Acosta, Kody Wilson, Zion Alexander, Sydney Wilson, and Zachary Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two husbands, Sydney Keith Wilson, Sr. and Herbert Bolt Jones.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Powdersville with Reverends Cy D. Rogers and Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the church Cemetery.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown Easley where the family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday and will be placed in the church at 1:00 P.M. Monday.
Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church; 516 Piedmont Road; Easley, SC 29642.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, 255 Oak Road; Piedmont, SC 29673.
