Margaret Kris
Easley, SC
Margaret Victoria Kris, 89, of 112 Foster Avenue, died Friday November 25, 2011 at the home of her daughter.
Born in Bad Axe, Michigan, Margaret was the third child of Hungarian immigrant parents, Frank and Vidor Yuhasz, she married her beloved Johnny in 1939, and was married to him for 68 years until his death in 2007. They lived in Saginaw, Michigan until 1956 when they moved to Miami, Florida. Having a very creative nature, they opened an interior design business in Miami, Kris Interiors, which they successfully operated until they sold it in 1981. In 1988 they moved to Easley, SC to be close to family. Margaret was a devout Jehovah??s Witness and was a member of The West Easley Congregation of Jehovah??s Witnesses. Margaret deeply loved her family, but most importantly, she loved her God, Jehovah. We rejoice in her example of faithfulness, and await time when she hears Jesus?? voice and comes out of the grave to the paradise earth for which she so longed.
She is survived by a son, Timothy John Kris, and his wife, Barbara, of Brasstown, NC; two daughters, Margaret "Bunny" Ashenback and husband, Jack, and Rosanne Krstovic and husband, Alex, all of Easley: nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3, at 1:00 PM at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah??s Witnesses, 335 Robert P. Jeanes Rd., Easley, SC.
Memorials may be made to the above Kingdom Hall.
