Margaret Gibson Lee, 78, of 434 Lebanon Rd, died Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the Hospice House in Anderson. A native of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Etta M. Gibson. She retired from Jacobs Chuck Mfg. Co. in Clemson and was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist. She was "Nana" to all who met her and a devoted Mother and Grandmother.
Surviving are sons, Mark E. Lee and his wife Shandra, Seneca, Donnie M. Lee and his wife Betty, Pendleton; daughter, Jan L. Day, and her husband Bing, Powdersville; brothers, Wallace H., Gibson, Seneca, T. Edwin Gibson and his wife Jeanelle, Seneca; sister, Bobbie Williams, Anderson; grandchildren, Chris Lee and his wife Jennifer, Eudora, KS, Tyler and Olivia Lee, Seneca; great grandchildren, Kaden, Isaac and Ava Lee, Eudora, KS and numerous loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her oldest son, Marshall Dean Lee and grandson Terry Brandon Day.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, at 3pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621
The families will be at their respective homes.
