Mrs. Margaret Ellison McClellan, 93, wife of the late Houston Matthew "Ted" McClellan, Sr. passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at her home.
Born in Anderson County, a daughter of the late Cecil Elmer and Anita Jones Ellison, Mrs. McClellan was a graduate of Easley High School and a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a son, Houston Matthew "Hugh" McClellan, Jr. (Wendy) of Easley; two brothers, J.M. Ellison (Bonnie) and David Ellison (Sue), all of Easley; a sister, Sybil Ferguson of Easley; a sister-in-law, Doris Ellison; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McClellan was predeceased by two brothers, Fred Howard Ellison and Billy Joe Ellison; and a sister, Gertrude Powell.
Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the graveside service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Pruitt Health Hospice for the love and care they have provided for Mrs. McClellan.
