Margaret L. McCollough

Margaret Locke McCollough, 83, wife of Joe L. McCollough passed away at her home following a lengthy illness.
Margaret was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, daughter of the late William R. and Charlotte Locke. She taught and later substituted at Clemson Elementary School for over 45 years. She was very active at Clemson United Methodist Church where she taught 4 year old Sunday School Class and participated in the church music program and enjoyed playing in the hand bell choir. In addition to music, Margaret sewed and knitted for various charitable and mission organizations. and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 63 years, she was survived by a son, Lorin Bradford McCollough and his wife, Linda of Lawrenceville, GA; daughter, Liane M Clark and her husband, Paul of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Austin Clark, Gareth Clark, Challen Clark Vollrath and husband, Baylor, Noah Clark and Shane Clark.
There are no memorial services scheduled.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Clemson United Methodist Church, 300 Frontage Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
