Mrs. Margaret Evelyn Medlin, 85, wife of the late J.T. Medlin, passed away Monday, December 4, 2017.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Joseph Clarence Medlin and Elsie Crane Medlin, Mrs. Medlin was retired from Piedmont Shirt Company after 25 years of service. She was also a cherished member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She loved sewing and making quilts for her family.
Surviving are sons, Jacky Medlin (Tina) and Terry Medlin (Jan), both of Easley; daughters, Barbara Hunter (Ricky) and Dianne Golden (Roger), both of Greenville; a brother, J.C. Medlin of Easley; a sister, Pat Powell (John) of Norris; Numerous grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, Mrs. Medlin was predeceased by brothers, Pete, Tommy, and William Medlin; and a sister, Betty Dixon.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, where the family will receive friends immediately following the service.
The family will be at their respective homes.
