Margaret Buchanan Moore, 77, of Easley, wife of Rev. H. Gordon Moore, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at her home.

Born November 30, 1937 in Pendleton, she was a daughter of the late Rufus and Ida Ladd Buchanan. Mrs. Moore was a 1955 graduate of Easley High School and former President of the Women's Ministries of the Assemblies of God in South Carolina. Mrs. Moore was the former manager of Any Kind Checks Cashed, in Easley where she retired. She served faithfully by her husband's side as he pastored in South Carolina at the First Assembly of God churches in Williamston, Camden, and Easley and Cedar Lane Assembly of God in Greenville.

In addition to her husband of fifty-eight years, she is survived by her son, Tony Moore (Judy); daughter, Cindy Atkins (Chuck); brother, Jimmie Buchanan (Nancy); sisters, Helen Foster, Frances Gibson and Betty Stewart (Lee); seven grandchildren, Kristen Whitman (Chris), Lisa Schulenburg (Jeff), Jonathan Moore (Rebba), Amy Moore, Joshua Atkins (Andrea), Derek Atkins and Joel Atkins; thirteen great-grandchildren, Chandler, Izaak, Braeden, Alyssah and Landon Whitman, Angel Sherriff, Kylah and Nicholas Schulenburg, Katarena Newman, Gavin, Addington and Miles Moore and Daxon Atkins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
